Gently Used Dancewear

Organize your own used dancewear swap in your studio!

Why let your beautiful and gently used dancewear sit in a closet when it could be well used and loved by another dancer.  Instead of stuffing it to the back, gather it up and organize a swap at your studio.  Items in great shape but don't fit are great to mark at 30-50% of their original cost, items with use but wear left in them should be marked between 15-30% of the original cost.  This gives younger dancers items new to them or basic pieces to supplement helping parents stretch their dance dollars for other things and gives you $$ to purchase something new! You might also find items in your closet that still fit but you've grown tired of them and are ready for something different.  Swapping same size items with a friend gives you both something new to wear.

• Make sure items have been laundered.
• Hone your sewing skills and mend small tears to make items like new.
• Don't limit yourself to leotards, clear out the extra dance bags, shorts and accessories too!
